sorry I’m new to Linux but most of the people I’ve spoken to on various linux discords the consensus seemed to be that Mint was fantastic to start out on but most moved on to something else after awhile.

If in the future you don’t want to dual boot you should check out CachyOS. I use that as my daily driver right now and it’s great for gaming.

that’s generally how it works with Mint. you install it, use it for a week or two and then move onto a distro that better suites your needs. Mint is a fantastic introduction and sure many will stick with it for awhile I think most move on from it fairly quickly.

one of the best MCU movies in awhile, that they even acknowledge in the film. felt like one of the first marvel movies that was a real love letter to fans of the comic books as there were quite a few deep cuts from the comic books. Lady Deadpool, Marvel Zombies Deadpool, Ultimate Deadpool, Kidpool, Deadpool 2099, Zenpool…like wow I was even surprised they had Deadpool 2099 in it. the first live action version of a 2099 character.

back in the late 00’s there was (maybe still is, who knows) an online service called “gamefly” where you could rent games. At the time the DS pokemon games would allow you to plug in a pokemon GBA cart and copy the pokemon from the GBA to your DS. That being said the people that maintain the filter lists I believe, don’t quoute me on this, you can donate to a few of them. it’s total bullshit. For example if you use ublock origin every now and again sure you might get ads that pop up, but AT MOST that lasts for a day, generally it’ll last a couple hours as the team at ublock update their lists to block ads again. There’s no need, literally zero need, to remove it from your extensions. and at worst, like I got yesterday, you’ll just see a black screen that buffers for a bit before the video plays. the ad is still blocked.

you can also circumvent most of this if you use freetube. OR if you just want music the youtube-dl script on linux. I also ditched spotify for youtube-dl as I can also download entire playlists with it.

as far as dead name goes, and again this is debatable, it’s in reference to the characters no longer using their “Matrix names” in the “real world” i.e. Neo no longer goes by Thomas Anderson. People will reference the fact that Agent Smith constantly refers to Neo as “Mr. Anderson” thus constanly using his “dead name” in reference to Trans people being called their “dead names” after they transition.

As far as the character goes the Wachowski Sisters have said that originally Switch was supposed to be a woman in the real world and a man within the Matrix but it got nixed by Warner Brothers as being too controversial for the time.

The Acolyte takes place 100 years before TPM. The Acolyte makes Yoda look like an absolute moron if indeed Vernestra tells him what’s going on. What else would she be telling him? Those twins? yeah they were a vergence in the force and Sol wanted to train them even though we know it’s a bad idea. 100 years later? “Ok Obi-Wan go ahead and train that vergence in the force because it’ll probably go better than it did 100 years ago…huh? this happened before you ask? uh…yeah…didn’t go well but I’m sure you’re more qualified than Sol”

The Acoylte is trying to be a Skywalker Saga Prequel and if you can’t see it then I don’t know what to tell you. The Twins are the beta version of Anakin. With the introduction of Darth Plagueis which we should have all seen coming a mile away and now Yoda being involved it’s just all so painfully obvious.

It takes what happened in the Prequels with the downfall of the Jedi, the vergence in the force, the return of the Sith and says “yeah fuck all that, lets do the same thing and set it 100 years earlier” it’s unorignial garbage. It takes what happened with Anakin and pretty much says he isn’t special, this happened before with many of the same people involved.

And they can barely do that as most fail their community college classes. you essentially have “businesses” in india set up purely to scam people into a western country.

But they provide cheap and exploitable labor for companies in countries they immigrat to and they’re too ignorant to realize they’re being exploited. And then you have the Indians who immigrated legitimately and start their own businesses now being shaken down by organized Indian gangs who entered the country the same way the “students” did in order to scam “protection money” that gets sent right back to crime families in India.

If there’s one country that needs to be sanctioned and it’s people barred from entering a country it’s India. at least until they get their own house in order. I guarantee you in a few years they’ll be no better than russia.
