Pro tip: Infect your Windows friends with malware, then get them to switch to Linux

You should still switch to Linux.
It’s literally Chinese government spyware
Use GrapheneOS and avoid tracking and data collection of any kind, free yourself from Google and other Big Tech companies and use open source software to guarantee your personal privacy and security.
Some solutions:
There’s a list of apps that work and those that don’t work. Most banking apps should work though as the GrapheneOS passes Google SafetyNet checks.
Use GrapheneOS. It never has this bug to begin with, as the team found and fixed it while porting the OS to Android 14. https://grapheneos.social/@GrapheneOS/111309676504712576
GrapheneOS also has many other significant privacy and security improvements compared to the stock OS, it’s definitely worth checking out.
Definitely don’t go to fmhy.net and definitly don’t join the !piracy@lemmy.dbzer0.com community. Also don’t visit torrentgalaxy.to, 1337x.to or solidtorrents.to. You probably also wouldn’t want to check out rutracker.org or therarbg.com.
I’m pretty happy with Simple Gallery by Simple Mobile Tools. These guys make great minimal FOSS apps that respect your privacy. Just make sure to download it from F-Droid, since the Google Play version doesn’t have all the features. If you dislike F-Droid, you can also use Obtanium to directly pull from their GitHub repo. It also notifies you whenever an update is available, and it allows you to download and install new versions of an app.
You can use Yattee. There’s a guide on how to set it up correctly. You can also just add the Piped website to your homescreen. That’s what I’ve been doing for over a year, before I switched to GrapheneOS. Now I can enjoy LibreTube.
I remember using this (cheating a little bit with VPNs and proxies so I could claim the rewards like 20 times every day, because they are separate in every country) to get some Xbox giftcards
I also had ~15 Microsoft accounts and I put them all in a Microsoft family so I could transfer points from one account to another, it was really fun lol
