Oh definitely. I already knew he’s a dirty player, but he’s just proving to be whiner too. Even if he did have a fever or jetlag or whatever, he needs to take the L on the chin.
Yeah I was reading about this earlier. Apparently all national teams arrange travel for their players to get back to their clubs. But sometimes it can take longer than the player or the clubs would like.
So basically every PL club arranges alternative (and expedited) travel plans for their players, so they can come back from international matches more promptly.
Well, all PL clubs except for the spuds. And that’s where Romero’s complaint is coming from.
One-nil to the Arsenal. With some of our key midfielders missing and Arteta having to rework the lineup, against a good opposition at their place, in one of the most fiercely-contested derbies in the world. Great result for us!
Oh I was definitely worried! And in all honesty I would have taken a draw at half time.
Definitely things we can improve on, but the spuds are a decent team, and it’s the NLD, so they are always up for it. This is an excellent win.
🎶 It’s happened again, it’s happened again… Tottenham Hotspur, it’s happened again! 🎶
Even missing some of our key players and having to rejig our lineup, we won - at their toilet bowl stadium too! 😅🤣
“…And your wonderful corporate family takes priority over your shitty personal family!”
They are too used to the typical news cycle where they bombard the public with lies to the point where everyone starts believing those are real. They’ve grown complacent.
Grilling chicken in Ohio, eh? Hmm, I hear there’s a huge orange chicken who is scared to have a second debate because he got so badly humiliated in the first one. He might want to stay away from Ohio since they are grilling his kind.
Opus Dei has had a huge influence on the post-liberal right movement. And you can’t get more tone deaf to really anything than Opus Dei. They don’t give a shit about context or history or regional/national concerns. They are the proverbial hammer that sees everything as a nail.
I say the following not for you (the person I’m replying to), but for others who may read this…
Some people refer to the Catholic Church as a cult, but really the church is a broad umbrella of competing subgroups that share common beliefs yet approach most topics with pretty different perspectives (a great example being the more science-based Jesuits versus other anti-science and ultra-superstitious orders).
That said, there are cults within the Catholic Church. And Opus Dei is probably the biggest and most extreme one. They want to impose their fanatical dogma not only on the rest of the church, but also on the world. They are a cancer on global society.
Exactly.
I get moving ESR and Vieira on. ESR had that injury hoodoo to the point where Arteta just didn’t trust him to be fit. And I still maintain Vieira just isn’t built for the English game, and probably never will be.
But holy shit, why didn’t we bring in a decent attacking midfielder to replace them! Now (for this match at least) we are left with Partey (who isn’t consistent and does better in DM, Nwaneri (who is arguably too young and inexperienced to blood in a NLD at this point in his career), or someone out of position, like Trossard, Sterling, or Gabi J.
If we’re going to mix it up anyway, I wouldn’t mind seeing Saka try to fill the role in Martin’s absence. He is good with both feet, he carries the ball well, he has great dribbling ability and movement off the ball, and he has a decent eye for a pass. Sterling on the right wing, Martinelli/Trossard on the left wing, Saka through the middle, and Kai up front, with Jorginho and Partey in a double pivot behind all of them for extra support.
Hoping for the best, but bracing for the worst.
Also, I’m wondering what fucking stupid refereeing decisions will go against us in this one. It’s hard not to sound like a “the league is out to get us” conspiracy theorist when every other week we get the short end of the stick, while other clubs get away with egregious stuff.
Rat fleeing a sinking ship for… another sinking ship.
And a connoisseur of covfefe and berders.
Excellent article.
So basically you have the post-liberal right movement (who are ultra-religious Catholic zealots) slyly co-opting both the MAGA movement and the Heritage Foundation’s Project 2025 plans to push their own agenda, which is even more extend than either of the other two. Eesh!
Exactly the same here. Holding out hope for us sneaking a win. But not expecting it. But even if we do lose, it’ll just be one match. Another few weeks once we have several key players back we’ll be back up and running.
Ahh okay. That would explain it. Yeah, it’s disappointing that DDG is selectively selling out. I get that they need to make money. But the content in that screenshot you shared is just ridiculous.
Wow. Yeah that sucks!
Maybe that’s why people leave his rallies in droves. The breeze starts blowing the wrong way, and the crowds get his diaper+BO stank right in their faces.
