That dude was at the Weapons Station looking like that? Shit’s changed since my day then. When I was there you’d get your ass beat for pulling that shit.

Asking the real questions here. I’ve got a ninja and I’m pretty sure there’s no way I could puree bones.
That’s how a lot of venture capital places operate when they buy anything. I’m pretty sure that’s what red lobster is doing. It happened to an MSP I used to work at (about two thirds of our clients were hospitals or clinics, for whatever that’s worth). Doing it with a hospital system is just extra especially vile rather than the normal amount of vile.
Yee haw, fuck the law.
I learned scripting from MUDs. That’s really how I learned automation and why I have the job I have today.
Yep. That’s a HIPAA violation.
Three weeks ago Thursday, plus or minus a few hundred years.
Obviously I’m talking shit, but I was under the impression that the newer something is the less accurate carbon dating it would be.
“That’s a boycott, not cancelling someone! It’s completely different!”
–Actual response I got to that question a few years ago.
Texan is right there in the title. Probably not a voter.
That person is an apprentice.
I agree with my Tex Mex bazooka friend and now I want something in a flour tortilla with slightly too much cheese.
I have a few of these running HoloISO running around the house to stream graphic intense games from my main rig and to run smaller games locally. Runs fine with a 680m iGPU and I never have to leave the room I’m in (garage included) to play games if I want.
It cost more than a console, but far less than the 5 consoles I’d have to put out for that kind of convenience.
I thought you could hide those now.
I removed Gemini and installed assistant. That made it searchable in my app list. Then I just plopped the button on my home screen. When I short press the button it pops up something that asks me to try Gemini, but I just say whatever it is I want and it does it just like it used to in the search bar.
I would guess that most Americans have zero opinion on it at all. Money supports it.
You’re not wrong, and I know that I personally need to be more careful in making sure I’m calling out the hypocrisy of it. I’m going to make an effort to be explicit in what I’m calling out.
It’s hypocrisy shaming. These are the people trying to get porn banned.
The old assistant wasn’t bad, especially before they put lens in the search widget instead of being off in its own place where it belongs so that I can uninstall it.
I thought Gemini needed 6 more months of development to be ready for prime time. Apparently I wildly underestimated it. Simple tasks barely work and it offloads anything useful to the old assistant anyway.
I set up a separate assistant button because the assistant on the search bar, even without Gemini, only searches now. I use Firefox so I don’t need it for search. I use it to add things to my to do list and to set timers, the only two things voice assistants are good for in my life.
I don’t understand why they won’t just let me use technology the way I want to use it rather than trying to force me to use it their way. Well, I refuse to understand even though I kind of get it (if I used shit the way I wanted they’d never have the opportunity to show me an advertisement).
Edit: clarity
We may have been friends. I was that guy that did that thing that one time.
I have no solid info because I’m terrible, but I love it.
