And one of the reasons POC are more likely go to jail (or even gets shot) for something a white man would be let free with only a warning… At least in the “free” land.

The behaviour is intended as far as I understand Apple’s iOS philosophy. This is to prevent bad coded apps from consuming too many recourses like RAM and battery. I guess this is also a reason why linux phones have such shorter battery life compared to android/iOS devices.
😁there are now binary files to be found there as well 😉
I don’t really like neither of the 3, personally. But I understand the need and the benefits
I guess this reply lost its “by default” part on the way 🤔
I think retroArch is strong on niche devices with only few emulators ported to it. Having to only port RetroArch framework and then having many emulators seems very convenient.
But hearing that they have bad behaviours towards emulator devs and minorities is extremely sad and I can not understand why people are like this…
Still is 😉
Cyberpunk, let’s go 😂
I prefer the trippy tribe 🥴
Lol, forgot that very important one 😂
Reaction: 😃good choice! I think it is a good well distro for people coming to linux✌🏻
Exactly that, AUR is mostly unusable in manjaro and manjaro is mostly unusable if you don’t have AUR packages, in my opinion.
Reactions:
Ubuntu: 😮why?
Manjaro: haven’t you managed to kill it yet?
Mint: ex windows guy?
Debian: 😃nice, how did you got to that decision?
Endeavour: 😃nice, how did you got to that decision?
Arch: 😃nice, how did you got to that decision?
Nix: 😃nice, how did you got to that decision?
OpenSUSE: 😃nice, how did you got to that decision?
…
I’d say iOS is still unix too, just rootless.
Of course, but I still think it is not very smart from SUSE, since I bet many companies got into SUSE because coworkers had very good experiences with OpenSUSE.
I, at least, if my company would need corporate Linux, would recommend SUSE to my company because of that reason.
ChromeOS? And MacOS? (If UNIX is good enough)
I want to play switch and turn it on using a controller, CEC turns TV and switch screen is on, then the turning on TV triggers CEC that wakes up Apple TV, which in turn starts sending video over HDMI, making TV show Apple TV screen 🥴
I have no TV remote (only use it in dump mode for AppleTV which is controlled using siri remote) and turning off apple TV turns TV and Switch off.
My solution: Shortly undock switch so it’s hdmi get excited and TV switches input to Nintendo switch
It is just so wonky, lol
It works great as a quick and easy WSL module if you need to quickly patch the kernel of your embedded Linux device at work 🤗, well, maybe it would have been just as easy using just debian, to be fair 🤔
It does render the keyboard, arms and hands into the virtual environment. And the look’n’snap technique to write is not as bad as you may think.
Or just use a f***ing password manager?! (Unlocked with retinaID same as with faceID on iPhone)
We are not in 2010 anymore…
There are really great WriteOnceReadOnlyAfterMemory solutions that hold mind blowing amounts of data without the need of being powered 😁 like glass and laser for example.
