Pixels have many hardware security features that can’t be found on any other Android phone. Examples are the Titan M2 chip, which uses the Android StrongBox and Weaver API, Insider Attack Resistance and hardware attestation. It enables a strong implementation of Android Verified Boot. On many other Android devices, Verified boot is insecure or entirely broken. Pixels are also the only phones on the market with hardware memory tagging.
I highly recommend this section of the GrapheneOS FAQ and this video.
Because Pixels are the only Android phones with reasonable hardware design (in regards to security)
You just described GrapheneOS, by far the best mobile operating system IMO
SAP, closely followed by IBM/Lotus/(I have no idea which random company they were sold to) Notes
I fucking hate this corporate bullshit software
It works very well, I use it all the time on GrapheneOS
My company uses Roundcube for Webmail and offers Thunderbird as a native client. It’s always great to see free software in a corporate environment.
Roundcube should work pretty well for you: https://roundcube.net/
Keep using adblockers and don’t surrender your digital freedom to big tech corporations. Also check out private frontends for YouTube (and other plattforms: https://www.privacyguides.org/en/frontends/
Imagine being American and not even having health insurance
The developer is German, in Germany it’s pretty common to have a Rechtsschutzversicherung. You pay them monthly or yearly and in exchange you can request legal advice from one of their lawyers af any time. It’s pretty neat.
Framework, System76, Slimbook and Tuxedo are great choices
I generally like Louis Rossmann, but his arguments in the GrapheneOS video were beyond stupid. He says that he can’t trust GrapheneOS because it’s developed by Daniel Micay. I guess he doesn’t understand that GrapheneOS is open source and anyone can see the code. Then he switched back to the proprietary Google ROM. So he’s trusting proprietary software that’s filled with spyware over privacy-respecting open source software that can be audited by anyone.
You don’t seem to understand the situation either and you blindly follow some YouTuber. I’d advise you to overthink your opinion on this topic.
