Huh that’s actually one of my favorite movies to watch with my grandparents. It’s probably the hardest I’ve seen my grandpa laugh
Big fan of SBC gaming, open source engine recreations/source ports, gaming in general, alternative operating systems, and all things modding.
Trying to post and comment often in an effort to add to Lemmy’s growth.

I feel like your right about complacency playing a big part.
It does make me wonder if a user of both MacOS and Windows would be more willing to consider using Linux over individuals who have only used Windows. Maybe someone who has used multiple operating systems would be more aware of what could be improved in their computing experience.
That said a lot of people seem to be migrating to Linux because of Windows 11
It is a niche open source social network. I feel like having enthusiastic Linux users is inevitable.
When does this ever happen?

I don’t think so. From my understanding the Bethesda mod workshop has several limitations that would prevent things like using F4SE and ini file tweaks.
If it were added to console I have to imagine it would be in cooperation with Bethesda and involve tweaking the mod. It’s still having stability issue too so all of this would likely be a ways out. It could set a neat precedent of Bethesda being open to fan projects kind of like Valve and Black Mesa.
I feel like he would continue trying even after his turn limit if he won
You could just select a new install location for the game and keep that modded setup as well.
Thanks that got me to the solution
I tried disabling the network manager and Bluetooth through arch-croot but now it’s freezing at

Is there a way to tell what might be the issue?
I see folders like bluetooth.target.wants and network-online.target.wants and they contain .service files. I feel like this is probably what I’m after.
I wonder if it’s an issue with Mullvad blocking network connections.
I wonder if this came from someone reading about natural nuclear fission reactors.
That made me wonder if someone will ever create a Lutris install script for Fallout London
I edited the post to link directly to the trailer rather than the install page. Thought it might be a good idea for those who haven’t heard of it.
Totally. I feel like that’s a bit of a holdover from Reddit is all and there’s usual some flexibility here so I’m saying it’s good when people utilize it.
Personally I like altering the title, including the origina title in the text, and maybe a few other articles on the topic or to add context. It doesn’t take much effort on my part and I feel like it shows I’m not just dumping links and might engage in a conversation about it.
I don’t think there’s much escaping that besides finding a small niche instance or blocking communities that aren’t relevant to you.
Each social media site has a stereotype demographic and I don’t see Lemmy’s changing in the foreseeable future.
Redditors using “This” is another thing I hated. It adds nothing to the conversation and came off as someone fishing for upvotes
I feel like that’s a lot like the observer effect in physics where as soon as someone walks in you watching anime all the weird stuff happens. Like when a friend I was hanging out with decided to watch A Sister’s All You Need and we had to sit through the first scene of the first episode together.
I can’t imagine watching an anime movie with my parents.
