    dude my wife and I watched that BMX race- she had never seen a BMX race before, although I made her watch the 1983 film BMX Bandits starring Nicole Kidman in her debut role and they go down a waterslide with their BMX’s in that.

    Anyway, we’re watching the Athletics 10,000 meter dash, and its just going on and on, the long distance runners have steely expressions on their faces as they battle against their bodies in a grueling contest, but it’s kind of boring, so we switch to the BMX race and all fucking hell breaks loose, its looks like a speed metal guitar solo sounds and is over in seconds; the three Frenchos win all three medals and they’re screaming and throwing their bikes. It was quite the contrast
