The top comment on that post is so close to understanding that their support of Russia is still support for an overtly cruel empire. “I don’t support Russia’s evil, just its terror. You know it’s true because they used lots of technical terms and big words. If you throw enough political terminology into a paragraph, it makes it the right viewpoint to have.
